The TS-1 cuts only the top sheet without being influenced by user’s power adjustment. One TS-1 cuts a variety of papers: from a thin piece of newspaper to a thick cover of a magazine. Cutting pressure can be controlled continuosly by the adjuster on the back of the main body.

Hold the TS-1 as you hold a pen, and give it enough pressure to leave no space between the TS-1 and a sheet of paper while cutting. Trial cut is highly recommended while adjusting cutting pressure. Place an underlay to avoid the possibility of damage to the second sheet, especially when you are never able to damage the sheet of paper below.

This OLFA® cutter is your top choice when you want to cut only the top sheet. Its unique design lets you cut the top layer while preserving those below. While the cutter is great for cutting coupons and printed articles, you also can use it on cardstock, thin films, plastic sheeting, tape and more.

Auto Pressure Control system adjusts the cutting pressure used to cut only the top sheet or layer of material, while preserving the material beneath. Simply adjust blade settings from MIN, for cutting a thin sheet, to MAX when cutting thicker material, then cut! Test cuts are recommended for optimal results. Cutter maintains blade pressure, no user pressure adjustment necessary during the cut.
